My athletic journey started in a desire to expand friendships and meet new people through sports; such as basketball, volleyball and football. Always looking for physical challenges, I then moved to Rugby in high school and resulted in the opportunity to play in an international tournament in Tampa, Florida.

I knew I would need to transition to something after high school so Ultimate Frisbee led the focus, taking me across Canada to represent New Brunswick in the U18 category. I have also had the opportunity to continue playing rugby and have the opportunity to play against team from the US as well as Canada at various events.

My love for activity and the outdoors led me to pursue a post secondary education in forestry fulfilling my love of the outdoors. Not only do I love studying the outdoors, it has led me to possibly my greatest thrill and challenge yet. I have settled into a job protecting the woodlands as a Wildland firefighter, providing the perfect mix of thrill, outdoors, challenge and community while protecting what I love.

I have found a great balance for myself. I satisfy the desire for a challenge on the pitch, get my satisfaction of thrill and nature through fire fighting, while hikes bring relaxation and true beauty of the outdoors to my life.

All of this encompasses the one thing that started it all for me. Community! I have settled into a group of people who share a mutual love of challenge, thrill and the great outdoors. Through this community I have found the best lifelong friends anyone could ever want and experienced fantastic personalities from teammates and co-workers.
